Chapter 17, Problem 15ICA
Use a question dialog to determine whether the user's favorite type of meat is Fish, Bird, or Mammal. Then use an input dialog to ask the user how many servings of that type of meat they eat each week. Note that the question should include the name of the type of meat, such as “How many servings of Bird do you eat each week?” Next, use an input statement to ask the user how many servings of other types of meat they eat each week. Finally, you should print a report to the screen similar to the following example:

A) radio wave has a wavelength of 21 cm. What is the wavelength in meters? (Give your answer in meters rounded to exactly 2 decimal places).B)Use your previous answer and the speed of light (c = 3 · 108 m/s) to calculate the frequency of a 21 cm radio wave. Give your answer in Hz, no decimal places.C)Use your previous answer to calculate the frequency of a 21 cm radio wave. This time, give your answer in GHz, rounded to exactly one decimal place. (Note that 1 GHz = 109 Hz).
You own a wheat warehouse with a capacity of 20,000bushels. At the beginning of month 1, you have 6,000 bushels of wheat. Each month, wheat can be bought and sold at theprice per 1000 bushels given in Table 46.The sequence of events during each month is as follows:a You observe your initial stock of wheat.b You can sell any amount of wheat up to your initialstock at the current month’s selling price.c You can buy (at the current month’s buying price) asmuch wheat as you want, subject to the warehouse sizelimitation.Your goal is to formulate an LP that can be used to determine how to maximize the profit earned over the next 10months

- Posted below is a picture of a data table and a diagram of an experiment. In the experiment you rolled a marble down a ruler ramp off the end of a coffee table to observe projectiles and conservation of energy. You do 3 trials for each initial height. However, for the brand to remain viral, your client, which is a digital advertising firm needs to maintain a connection between influencers number 1 and 12 through other influencers. a. If you wish to recommend your client to choose the digital route from influencer 1 to influencer 12, which route would you recommend to your client and why? Please demonstrate your results through any optimization software (e.g., Excel Solver/R). b. Using the same Figure 1 above but this time the node represents a project undertaking and arcs represent the expected profit (in million £) after completing one project and starting another, what would be the ideal project sequence to maximise the company’s profit? Choose a mass at the beginning, and keep it constant for this entire experiment. Set the friction to zero. This will make your Applied Force equal to the net force. Record data for five different values of Applied Force. Graph Acceleration vs. Net Force. Graph this in Google sheets(you want a line graph - it should only have one line). - Please double check before rejecting this question. If it needs to be rejected, please explain why as I cannot see how this is a breach of the honor code. This is a questions from the previous year's exam at my university in Engineering Science. I have submitted a solution given to us for study purposes as proof that I will not be graded on this assessment. In this solution, the formula (2gh)1/2 is used to find the solution, but I am on familliar with Bernoulli's Principle (P=1/2pv^2+pgh), and I was not able to find a solution using this. My solution incurred an error when I found that I had two unkown variables left that I could not break down in any meaningful way. (Velocity being the desired variable, Pressure being the problematic variable). Pressure = Force x Area, but I don't know enough about the dimensions of the tank or tap to be able to understand this. Thank you for your help.arrow_forwardRecall the discussion on spacecraft from the chapter opener. The following problems consider a rocket launch from Earth’s surface. The force of gravity on the rocket is given by F(d)=−mk/d2, where m is the mass of the rocket, d is the distance of the rocket from the center of Earth, and k is a constant. 172. As the rocket travels away from Earth’s surface, there is a distance D where the rocket sheds some of its mass, since it no longer needs the excess fuel storage. We can write this function as F(d)=⎨(−m↓1 k / d^2) if d < D (−m↓2 k / d^2) if d ≥ D Is there a D value such that this function is continuous, assuming m1≠m2?arrow_forwardI downloaded this question multiple times but I had no answer.arrow_forward

Based on the equations in the image, you could get negative propellant mass. So, I coded it in matlab and I got negative mass. How is that possible?
