Program Plan Intro
Linked List Operations
Program Plan:
“IntList.h”:
- Include the required specifications into the program.
- Define a class named “IntList”.
- Declare the member variables “value” and “*next” in structure named “ListNode”.
- Declare the constructor, destructor, and member functions in the class.
“IntList.cpp”:
- Include the required header files into the program.
- Define a function named “appendNode()” to insert the node at end of the list.
- Declare the structure pointer variables “newNode” and “dataPtr” for the structure named “ListNode”.
- Assign the value “num” to the variable “newNode” and assign null to the variable “newNode”.
- Using “if…else” condition check whether the list is empty or not, if the “head” is empty then make a new node into “head” pointer. Otherwise, make a loop to find last node in the loop.
- Assign the value of “dataPtr” into the variable “newNode”.
- Define a function named “print()” to print the values in the list.
- Declare the structure pointer “dataPtr” for the structure named “ListNode”.
- Initialize the variable “dataPtr” with the “head” pointer.
- Using “if…else” to check whether the list is empty or not, if the list is empty display an appropriate message on the screen.
- Otherwise, make a loop “while” to display the values of the list.
- Define a function named “insertNode()” to insert a value into the list.
- Declare the structure pointer variables “newNode”, “dataPtr”, and “prev” for the structure named “ListNode”.
- Make a “newNode” value into the received variable value “num”.
- Use “if…else” condition to check whether the list is empty or not.
- If the list is empty then initialize “head” pointer with the value of “newNode” variable.
- Otherwise, make a “while” loop to test whether the “num” value is less than the list values or not.
- Use “if…else” condition to initialize the value into list.
- Define a function named “deleteNode()” to delete a value from the list.
- Declare the structure pointer variables “dataPtr”, and “prev” for the structure named “ListNode”.
- Use “if…else” condition to check whether the “head” value is equal to “num” or not.
- Initialize the variable “dataPtr” with the value of the variable “head”.
- Remove the value using “delete” operator and reassign the “head” value into the “dataPtr”.
- If the “num” value not equal to the “head” value, then define the “while” loop to assign the “dataPtr” into “prev”.
- Use “if” condition to delete the “prev” pointer.
- Define the destructor to destroy the list values from the memory.
- Declare the structure pointer variables “dataPtr”, and “nextNode” for the structure named “ListNode”.
- Initialize the variable “dataPtr” with the “head” pointer.
- Define a “while” loop to make the links of node into “nextNode” and remove the node using “delete” operator.
“main.cpp”:
- Include the required header files into the program.
- Declare an object named “obj” for the class “IntList”.
- Make a call to functions for insert, append, and delete operations.
- Make a call to the function “print” to display all the values in the list on the screen.

C++ function Linked list
Write a function, to be included in an unsorted linked list class, called replaceItem, that will receive two parameters, one called olditem, the other called new item. The function will replace all occurrences of old item with new item (if old item exists !!) and it will return the number of replacements done.
(Circular linked lists) This chapter defined and identified various operations on a circular linked list.a. Write the definitions of the class circularLinkedList and its member functions. (You may assume that the elements of the circular linked list are in ascending order.)b. Write a program to test various operations of the class defined in (a).
Topic: Singly Linked ListImplement the following functions in C++ program. Read the question carefully. (See attached photo for reference)
void isEmpty()
This method will return true if the linked list is empty, otherwise return false.
void clear()
This method will empty your linked list. Effectively, this should and already has been called in your destructor (i.e., the ~LinkedList() method) so that it will deallocate the nodes created first before deallocating the linked list itself.

- 1. Design your own linked list class to hold a series of integers using C++. The class should have member functions for appending, inserting, and deleting nodes. Don't forget to add a destructor that destroys the list. Demonstrate the class with a driver program. 2. Modify the linked list class you created to add a print member function. The function should display all the values in the linked list. Test the class by starting with an empty list, adding some elements, and then printing the resulting list out.arrow_forwardC++ The List class represents a linked list of dynamically allocated elements. The list has only one member variable head which is a pointer that leads to the first element. See the following code for the destructor to List. ~ List () { for (int i = 0; i <size (); i ++) { pop_back (); } } What problems does the destructor have? Select one or more options: 1. There are no parameters for the destructor. 2. The return value from pop_back (if any) is nerver handled. 3. The destructor will create a stack overflow. 4. The destructor will create dangling pointers. 5.The destructor will create memory leaks. 6.The destructor will create undefined behavior (equivalent to zero pointer exception). 7.The condition must be: i <size () - 1 8. There is at least one problem with the destructor, but none of the above.arrow_forwardlinked_list_stack_shopping_list_manager.py This is a file that includes the class of linked list based shopping list manager. This class contains such methods as init, insert_item, is_list_empty, print_item_recursive_from_top, print_items_from_top, print_item_recursive_from_bottom, print_items_from_bottom, getLastItem, removeLastItem. In addition, this class requires the inner class to hold onto data as a linked list based on Stack. DO NOT use standard python library, such as deque from the collections module. Please keep in mind the following notes for each method during implementation: Init(): initializes linked list based on Stack object to be used throughout object life. insert_item(item): inserts item at the front of the linked list based on Stack. Parameters: item name. is_list_empty (): checks if the current Stack object is empty (ex. check if head is None). print_item_recursive_from_top(currentNode): a helper method to print linked list based on Stack item recursively. - C++The List class represents a linked list of dynamically allocated elements. The list has only one member variable head which is a pointer that leads to the first element. See the following code for the copy constructor to List. List (const List & list) { for (int i = 0; i <list.size (); i ++) { push_back (list [i]); } } What problems does the copy constructor have? Select one or more options: 1. List (const List & list) {} does not define a copy constructor. 2. The list parameter should not be constant. 3. The new elements will be added to the wrong list. 4. Copy becomes shallow rather than deep. 5. The copy will create dangling pointers. 6. Copying will create memory leaks. 7. The condition must be: i <size () 8. head is never initialized.arrow_forwardCreate a C++ linked list class for integers. Appending, inserting, and removing nodes should be class member functions. - Create two linked lists and then make a concatList(NODE **list1, NODE **list2) function that concatenates the two lists. The concatenated list must be a linked list. Fill in the "Write code here" sections appropriately.arrow_forwardTopic: Singly Linked ListImplement the following functions in C++ program. Read the question carefully. (See attached photo for reference) int removeAt(int pos) Removes the number in the posth position of the list and returns the element removed. Performing removeAt(3) in the example list will remove the 3rd element of the linked list and the updated list will be: 10 -> 30 -> 50 When the value of pos is greater than the size or less than one, return -1. int removeAll(int num) Removes all instances of num in the linked list and returns the number of instances removed. In this list 10 -> 10 -> 20 -> 30 -> 10, performing removeAll(10) will remove all three 10's and the list will look like this: 20 -> 30. Then, it will return the number of instances removed, in this case, 3. int contains(int num) This will return the position of the first instance of the element num in the list. If num is not found, return 0. It is also imperative that you will use an instance of this Linked List class to hold the numbers that you have already checked and use the methods in this instance. In the example 10 -> 10 -> 20 -> 30 -> 10, calling remove_redundant() will remove the other 2 10's that occurred later, hereby making the list 10 -> 20 -> 30. Limitation: You cannot have a nested loop here nor use methods that employ loops as the performance of our linked list will suffer.arrow_forward
