Summary Introduction

Introduction:

In various serological tests, fluorescent dyes are used as labels. There are certain fluorescent dyes which can be linked chemically with an antibody without affecting the ability of antibody to bind with the antigen. When a certain wavelength of light is exposed, these dyes glow. Thus, the antibodies that are labeled fluorescently are utilized in the indirect and direct fluorescent antibody tests.
