Chapter 17.4, Problem 17.25CP
Program Plan Intro
Map:
- Maps are associative container. It is also called as “key-value” pairs.
- When “map” class is used in a program, the header file “#include<map>” should be used.
- It does not require more memory.
- There are different types of maps. They are:
- Multimap – they are associative containers.
- Unordered-map – they are unordered associative containers.
Syntax:
map<datatype, datatype> map_Name = {key, value};

What happens when you try to look up a value and the key does not exist in the map?
Create a Point classCreate a Point class as we did in the class. We'll use this to create Point objects that hold x,y coordinates of locations where we'll want to draw.
Draw DotsWrite a drawDots(points) function that takes a list points as input and draws a dot on the drawing window for each Point. For example, you should be able to call your function as follows:
>>> p = Point(10, 20) >>> q = Point(20, 30)
>>> points = [p, q]
>>> drawDots(points)
If the key is not there in the map and you attempt to look up a value, what will happen?

- The play method in the Player class of the craps game plays an entire game without interaction with the user. Revise the Player class so that its user can make individual rolls of the dice and view the results after each roll. The Player class no longer accumulates a list of rolls, but saves the string representation of each roll after it is made. Add new methods rollDice, getNumberOfRolls, isWinner, and isLoser to the Player class. The last three methods allow the user to obtain the number of rolls and to determine whether there is a winner or a loser. The last two methods are associated with new Boolean instance variables (winner and loser respectively). Two other instance variables track the number of rolls and the string representation of the most recent roll (rollsCount and roll). Another instance variable (atStartup) tracks whether or not the first roll has occurred. The Book class should store attributes such as the title, ISBN, author, edition, publisher, and year of publication. These attributes must be private. Define a class called Bookshelf, which contains only a main() method. The Bookshelf class must create a dozen (12) Book objects with distinct attributes, and it must store them in an ArrayList of Books. The Bookshelf class must then list all the attributes of all books in the ArrayList in the order they were entered into the ArrayList.
