Introduction:
The blood cells are of three types namely- the erythrocytes, the leukocytes, and the thrombocytes. The erythrocytes are also known as the red blood cells (RBCs). They are designated with the task of gaseous transport. The red blood cells are the only blood cells that are not circular in shape. The white blood cells take part in various immune functions.
