The color of the granules of eosinophils and basophils after staining with the H&E stain.

Introduction:

Stains are used for enhancing the microscopic view of the cell organelles which get stained by a dye that is of opposite electric charge. Thus, the acidic structures are stained by the basic dyes while the basic dyes are used for staining acidic organelles in the cell. Acidic as well as basic stains reflect different variety of colors.
