Introduction: Glomerulonephritis refers to the inflammation of glomeruli or small blood vessels present in the kidneys. The acute poststreptococcal glomerulonephritis (ASPGN) is a disorder of glomeruli caused by the streptococcal infection. It results in hematuria, red blood cell casts, albuminuria, severe renal failure, and uremia.
