Given: Describe how you would identify the key features of the graph describe in this lesson using the tables of value of the function.

(i) $x$Intercept: To find $x$ intercept look in the table if there is any point that had $0$ in $y$ coordinate.

Also if there is any $y$ coordinate switches from positive value to negative value or vice versa, then the $x$ intercept occurred between these values.

This rule is also applicable for finding the $y$ intercept.

(ii) Relative maximums: For relative maximums look where the $y$ values are increased and then decreased.

(iii) Relative minimums: For relative minimums look where the $y$ values are decreased and then increased.

(iv) Positive: To find where the function is positive look at where the $y$ coordinate are greater than zero.

(v) Negative: To find where the function is negative look at where the $y$ coordinate are less than zero.

(vi) Increasing: To find where the function is increasing look at where the $y$ coordinate are getting bigger.

(vii)Decreasing: To find where the function is decreasing look at where the $y$ coordinate are getting smaller.
