Linked List:

Linked list is a linear and dynamic data structure which is used to organize data; it contains sequence of elements which are connected together in memory to form a chain. The every element of linked list is called as a node.

STL vector:

The Standard Template Library (STL) includes the collection of data types and algorithms which can be used by programmers in their programs.

  • STL offers a vector data type which is used to hold a sequence of values or elements.
  • It is a dynamic array which can be automatically resized during vector operations.  A vector values are stored in contiguous memory locations.
