Interpretation:

The difference between somatic damage and genetic damage upon radiation has to be explained.

Concept Introduction:

Radiations can cause damage to human body both in genetic and somatic.  Radiation can be defined as the emission of energy from the elements which causes ionization and produce adverse effects on human body and environment.
