Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation: The information regarding the Tourette’s syndrome and use of ${}^{131}\text{I}$ for imaging of brain of the people suffering from the same disease and the research over mammalian brain cells by culturing them with a solution consisting of ${}^{131}\text{I}$ with some initial counts and drop in number of counts is given. The possibility of absorption of ${}^{131}\text{I}$ by the brain cells is to be stated.

Concept introduction: The time taken by any species to get reduced to half of its original concentration is called half-life of that species.

To determine: The possibility of absorption of ${}^{131}\text{I}$ by the brain cells.
