Introduction:
Tuberculosis is the disease that causes infection in the lungs. It is caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. HIV is a human immunodeficiency virus which causes a very serious disease called AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome). HIV interferes with the immune system of the body and reduces the ability to fight infections. It kills the T- helper cells and makes the individual vulnerable to infections.
