Introduction: Viruses are infectious agents that cannot be seen through the naked eyes. The genetic material of viruses is either DNA or RNA. A virus that has RNA as its genetic material is known as an RNA virus. The nucleic acid of RNA viruses is usually single-stranded RNA (ssRNA), but it can also be double-stranded RNA (dsRNA).
