Interpretation:
The VSEPR geometry of each internal atom of serine needs to be determined and draw a three-dimensional sketch of the molecule.
Concept introduction:
The valence shell electron pair repulsion (VSEPR) theory is used to determine the geometry of individual atoms or molecules on the basis of the number of electrons surrounding the central atom.
As per this concept, the valence electron pair surrounding an atom repel each other and finally adjust at a distance where they are at farthest possible distance from each other so that the repulsive forces are minimized.
