Concept Introduction:

Direct relationship: The direct relationship indicates the positive relationship between two variables. If there is an increase in one variable that leads to the increase in the other variables also. If there is a decrease in one variable it leads to decrease in the other variable also.

Inverse relationship: The inverse relationship indicates the negative relationship between the two variables, if there is an increase in the one variable leads to the decrease in the other variable. In the other way, if there is a decrease in one variable leads to increase in the other variable.
