Introduction:

A protein consists of a long chain of "building blocks", known as amino acids. There are 21 different amino acids which can be arranged in various proportions to obtain different proteins. Proteins can be hundreds of amino acids long. Proteins are one of the most important biomolecules in living organisms. These polypeptide chains interact with each other via different types of bonds resulting in different forms of protein.
