The extent to which GM is using a system viewpoint by using figure 2.4.

Introduction:

System viewpoint, a system is set of interrelated parts that operate together to achieve a common purpose, in this regard organisation’s system viewpoint is a system of interrelated parts.

According to the figure 2.4 there are four parts of system.

• Inputs
• Transformation process
• Outputs
• Feedback

Input are the resources invested in the organisation’s system such as money, people, equipment, information and raw materials required to produce goods and services for consumer.

Transformation processes of the system are the organisation’s ability to manage internal process, employees, information flow, technology applied to gain output from the input.

Outputs are the products, services, customer satisfaction gain from the input and transformation process into an organisation.

Feedback is the information gained after output, it is regarding the quality or reaction of the products an organisation offered. It affects the input.
