Introduction:

Diabetes mellitus is also known as diabetes which is basically the group of metabolic disorders that are high in the sugar levels for a longer period of time. The symptoms involve frequent urination, elevated thirst and hunger. When this condition is left untreated, then it leads to complications like diabetic ketoacidosis. In order to restore the pH of the blood, the carbonic acid which is formed by the water and carbon dioxide undergoes a reverse reaction.
