Disulfide bond is a covalent bond that has a strong bond connection between the two groupsof thiol molecules. These bonds are of two types, one is the intramolecular bonds and the other is the intermolecular bonds. In the intermolecular bonds these disulfide bonds are formed between the polypeptide and the intramolecular forms within the chain of polypeptide.
