Question
Chapter 2, Problem 9MC
Summary Introduction
Introduction:
Cell division takes place either meiotically or mitotically. Any type of cellular division is divided into different stages, namely prophase, metaphase, anaphase, and telophase. A mitotic division maintains the chromosomal number in the daughter cells as same as that in the parent cells; whereas, in meiotic divisions, the chromosomal number is reduced to half of the chromosomes that are present in the parent cells.
