Chapter 20, Problem 14SQ
Summary Introduction

Introduction: Archaea are the prokaryotes that appear different from the bacteria in structure. Eukaryotic organisms are the organisms with single or multiple cells that have complex organization than the prokaryotes. There are many similarities between the archaea and eukaryotes. One such similarity is the presence of histone proteins that make up the nucleosomes in them. Histone proteins help in condensation of long DNA strands into smaller compacted DNA structure called as nucleosomes.
