Fungi are present in the insects as parasites, some of the fungi are decomposers, and others remain in partnership with the photosynthetic organisms. A few of fungi are carnivores. Some of the fungi cause diseases in plants and are pests. Some of the species of fungi exist as human parasites. There are some fungi, which benefit humans.
