Introduction:
An atom is the small part of an element which contains protons, neutrons and electrons. The protons and neutrons are present in the nucleus and the electrons are present in the orbital surrounding the nucleus. The protons are positively charges, neutrons are neutral and the electrons are negatively charged.
An element is the basic unit of matter that cannot be broken down into smaller parts. There are a total number of 92 elements present.
