Introduction:

Brucella is Gram-negative, non motile, aerobic coccobacilli that lack capsule. This bacterium causes endocarditis or bacteremia. The signs and symptoms of the endocarditis is characterized by nausea, chills, fever, difficulty in breathing, malaise and tachycardia (increase in heart rate).
