Concept Introduction:
The glycolysis and gluconeogenesis are the two processes that are helpful to carry out the glycogen degradation and synthesis simultaneously. These two processes are mainly involved in the regulation of blood glucose. These two processes are controlled by mainly two hormones that are insulin, and glucagon.
