Chapter 21, Problem 5MC
Summary Introduction
Introduction:
Diarrhea is a disease caused by severe dehydration of the body due to the loss of the body fluids. It is caused due to infection caused by an organism which belongs to Diplomonad group for example Giardia. They have two nuclei and multiple flagella. It causes vomiting, diarrhea, and formation of cysts in feces of animals. These cysts are released in rivers and oceans which reach the body of the animals and humans after drinking contaminated water.
