Hantavirus causes Hantavirus pulmonary syndrome. This is an enveloped virus that belongs to the Bunyavirus family. Hantavirus has single-stranded RNA (ribonucleic acid) as its genome. There are three segments of RNA in the genome of this virus. The person suffering from this syndrome has a feeling of nausea, suffers from a headache, diarrhea, and fever.
