Explanation of Solution
One of the gases which causes global warming is carbon dioxide. The ocean water is alkaline. The carbon dioxide dissolves in ocean water and it helps in reducing the levels of carbon dioxide and so global warming.
The solubility of gases decreases in increased temperature. So, less amount of carbon dioxide will dissolve in the warmer ocean. The levels of carbon dioxide will not decrease much. So, it will accelerate global warming.
