Reptiles are the tetrapod vertebrate which posses all the unique features of phylum Chordata. The unique feature of reptile is the presence of scaly skin, well developed lungs, hard shelled eggs four chambered heart and amniotic eggs which distinct them from other groups of animals. Reptiles include the snakes, lizards, turtles and crocodiles. Birds are also included under avian reptiles.
