Two basic forms of adaptive immunity, the differences between them, and the types of pathogens each one attacks.
Introduction:
Acquired immunity is also called as adaptive immunity. The adaptive immune system is greatly composed of specialized immune cells. It has a specific process to destroy the pathogen. After an initial immune response, it creates an immunological memory to the specific antigen or the pathogen. It consists of both cell-mediated immunity and humoral immunity.
