Mollusks are the group of organism which is characterized by bilateral symmetry and three germ layers. They are protostomes which means that mouth develops from the first opening in the embryo at gastrulation. Mollusks have soft and unsegmented bodies. Snail, sea slug, oyster and octopus are some examples of mollusks.
