Chapter 21.8, Problem 4MC
Summary Introduction
To determine:
The process of feeding, locomotion, respiration, sensing the environment, reproduction and defense in arthropods.
Concept introduction:
Arthropods are included under the largest clade characterized by bilateral symmetry and three germ layers. The characteristic feature of arthropods is the presence of exoskeleton and jointed paired appendages. Arthropods undergo periodic molting to increase their size. Shrimp, lobster, and crab are some example of arthropods.
