Chapter 22, Problem 1COQ
Summary Introduction
To explain: The possible hypotheses for the formation of organic molecules for the first time.
Introduction: Organic molecules came into existence before the emergence of life on earth. There are many hypotheses that have been put forward to explain the formation of organic molecules on earth. Some of these hypotheses are reducing atmosphere hypotheses, extraterrestrial hypotheses, and Deep-Sea Vent hypotheses. All these hypotheses talk about how organic molecules were formed for the first time in an atmosphere that was totally different from today’s atmosphere.
