To examine: The periodic table to find the common aspect of all the elements in a row.
Introduction: The periodic table of chemical elements shows all the chemical elements listed in a tabular form according to their atomic number, electron distribution, and similar chemical properties.
The horizontal rows in the periodic table are called periods, whereas the vertical columns of the periodic table are called groups. All the elements of a group have the same number of electrons in their outermost atomic orbital. All the elements in a period have the same number of electron shells. From left to right in a period, each element adds one electron and a proton and thus, increases the atomic number.
To examine: The periodic table to find the common aspect in all the elements in a column.

Please be straight forward with the answer.arrow_forwardI'm confused on how to convert the numbers into a number. For example the first one is: '3.42 L' would I just write it as '342'? Then I'm also confused to what would I write it as for scientific notation. Same thing for problem B, would the number just be written as 138? And for the scientific notation wouldnt it go back 4 places so it would be '1380.' ?arrow_forward
