Introduction:

Circuit:

A circuit is a closed path for the flow of current.

It contains various electrical elements like voltage source, current source, resistor, inductor, capacitor etc.

Here, the battery acts as a voltage source and bulb acts as a resistor.

The circuit is kept closed for the bulb to glow.

The direction of conventional current is from positive to negative terminal outside the battery and negative to positive terminal inside the battery.
