Introduction:
The ingested food substances are broken down into simpler molecules by the process of digestion. Digestive organs include the gastrointestinal tract organs and the accessory digestive organs. The GI tract organs comprise mouth, pharynx, esophagus, stomach, small and large intestine, and anus. All these organs make a 30 feet long tube in which the movement of food takes place.
