Question
Chapter 22.3, Problem 3MC
Summary Introduction
To determine:
The ways by which natural selection influences seed size.
Introduction:
The growth of the plant begins after the germination of seed. Germination is the resumption of growth and development after a period of seed dormancy. Initially, the energy sources for seedling’s growth is provided by the stored food inside the seed, but when the seedling depletes its food reserves, the new green leaves initiates the production of food by photosynthesis.
