To analyze: The reason for the block in blood flow in the circulatory system due to an injury in the leg that has caused the formation of the blood clot.
Introduction:
The injury to the leg causes the formation of the blood clot. The lining of the endothelial vessel is damaged, which causes the blood to flow out and leak from the circulatory system. The deoxygenated blood flows in the vena cava and is drained into the auricles of the heart. The heart then reaches the ventricles and the blood is circulated in the capillary bed in the lungs through the pulmonary artery. The oxygenated blood circulates in the pulmonary vein and reaches the heart from where it is pumped to the various organs in the systemic circulation system.
