Question
Chapter 23, Problem 17TYR
Summary Introduction
Introduction:
When the solutes from the glomerular arrives at the distal convoluted tubule, it still retains 7% of salts and 20% water. It is expected to cross 36 liters per day, if all the solutes pass in the urine. Thus, the fluid reabsorption comes into play. Different volumes of salts and water are regulated by many hormones like natriuretic peptides, parathyroid hormone, antidiuretic hormone, and aldosterone.
