In a number ended with 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9 must be rounded to next nearest 0 digit number. In a number followed by 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4 must be rounded the number down. If we have decimals; in rounding off numbers we have to keep the last figure unchanged and the first figure dropped is less than 5 whereas more than 5 will change the number to the next number.
