Draw an orbital overlap picture of methane( CH4 ) with carbon atoms in sp3 hybridization and the orbital picture of methane with carbon atoms in sp2 hybridization. Explain why the carbon atom of methane is more stable molecule in sp3 hybridization than in sp2 hybridization.
