The lymphocytes are of different types, namely, the NK (natural killer) cells, the B (bone marrow-derived) lymphocytes, and the T (thymus-dependent) lymphocytes. They are all part of the immune system and are generally present in the lymph and the blood. The lymphocytes have antigen receptors on their surface that binds the antigens.
