Most of the fungi are not pathological or parasitic in nature and are helpful for the other organism and the ecosystem. Fungi are found in a symbiotic relationship with many organisms. Symbiosis can be defined as the interaction between two organisms where both the organisms benefit from interactions with each other. Fungi also live in symbiotic relationships, like mycorrhiza and lichens.
