As shown in Figure Q24.10, a uniform magnetic field points upward, in the plane of the paper. A long wire perpendicular to the paper initially carries no current. When a current is turned on in the wire in the direction shown, the magnetic field at point 1 is found to be zero. Draw the magnetic field vector at point 2 when the current is on.
