Chapter 24, Problem 10TYU
Summary Introduction

To explain: Whether the endangered status should be withdrawn for the red wolves or not.

Introduction: The endangered species are those species that are rare and likely to extinct. The red wolf (Canis lupus) is rare and one of the most endangered wild canids. Red wolves are currently protected under the US Endangered Species Act (ESA). Now in USA, the rare red wolf (Canis lupus) has been found to be hybridize with coyotes (Canislatrans) and created a hybrid offspring. This hybrid is essentially an evolution of the red wolf but obviously different animal. As the hybrids are not eligible for the ESA act so the endangered status should be withdrawn for the red wolves.
