Introduction:
HPV can stimulate transient proliferation. But the HPV strains 16 and 18 can exalt the cell lines in vitro. There are certain types of HPV like HPV-16, HPV-18, and HPV-31. These are known as the "oncogenic or "high-risk". These are the causal agents of cervical and anal cancers. These are sexually transmitted viruses.
