Concept explainers
Give at least two examples to distinguish between organized energy and disorganized energy.
Two examples to distinguish between organized energy and disorganized energy.
Explanation of Solution
Introduction:
The capacity to do work is called energy. In physical science, the study of energy is known as thermodynamics.
Organised energy refers to a type of energy which can be stored and be activated later. Disorganized energy refers to a type of energy in motion. In all the processes occurring naturally, some of organised energy is converted to disorganized energy
The energy stored in a battery is an organized energy. When the battery is attached in a circuit, electricity flows, the resistor heats up. The energy which is dissipated is the disorganised energy. Another example is when the brakes are applied in a car to make it stop. Some of the energy is dissipated which is the disorganized energy.
