Summary Introduction

An amoeba is commonly used to explain a type of cell or single-celled eukaryotic organism. Amoeba does not have a definite shape and it has the ability to change its shape. The temporary projection of a cell is called pseudopodia. Pseudopodia are also called pseudopods and by using pseudopodia, amoeba moves for both feeding and locomotion.
