Introduction:

Body synthesizes thousands of proteins with various structures and functions. Under adequate conditions these proteins are recycled by breakdown of peptide bonds which releases free amino acids that can be used for the synthesis of new proteins. Transamination is the process in which amino group of particular amino acid is attached to the keto acid. In the process of transamination the original amino acid is converted into keto acid that can enter in citric acid cycle for its break down.
