The tactics that can be used by an individual in the effort to bring about the change in the neighborhood or in a wider world are promotion of the concept of sustainable development and the concept of planting trees.

Explanation of Solution

The international organization that works on the environmental issues and encourages people of the society to take the initiatives that can reduce the increasing level of carbon dioxide which is responsible for the climate change is called as $350.org$. The level of carbon dioxide in the environment is increasing day by day as a result of air and water pollution due to human activities. The founders of the organization, $350.org$ are Bill Mckibben and a group of students from Middlebury college.

The lessons that are derived by an individual from the case study about $350.\text{org}$ are that everyone should support the climate justice and work upon to build a sustainable future and one should encourage churches, colleges, and retirement plans to divest from coal, oil, and gas corporations and should help to build a fossil-free future. The level of carbon dioxide can only be controlled if everyone including the government, private companies and a single individual should know their responsibility towards pollution control.

The tactics that can be used by an individual in the effort to bring about the change in the neighborhood or in a wider world are as follows.

(i). An individual can promote sustainable development in the neighborhood or in a wider world to create a better environment.

(ii) An individual can aware his society or neighborhood about the consequences of the pollution towards environment and several measures that can control the problem of society.

(iii) An individual can promote the concept of planting trees for the better and clean environment.
